Jim Stuart's housing finance practice builds on his 13 years of service as general counsel to the North Carolina Housing Finance Agency. His insurance practice has developed during his 18-year tenure as general counsel to Builders Mutual Insurance Company and its predecessors. His sports practice includes 18 years' experience representing professional football players.

Cathy Stuart's practice derives from her previous litigation experience in both state and federal courts, her representation of government agencies and her tenure as general counsel and director of tax-exempt organizations, including the U.S. Olympic Festival.

Together, their practice areas create a firm with a unique set of practice areas - all of which are united by a single-minded dedication to apply the combined knowledge of the firm to the specific needs of each client.
